જૂહાપુરા વિશે
Juhapura sits in the New West Zone of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, near Sarkhej along National Highway 8A. What started as a modest flood-relief colony in 1973 has grown into one of India's most significant urban Muslim localities — home to over five lakh residents.
Despite decades of unequal civic investment, the community built a self-sustaining ecosystem from within — hospitals, schools, food markets, retail streets, and a flourishing professional class. Real-estate values have risen sharply, and 13+ new residential projects are now underway.
Recognised as the second-largest Muslim-concentrated locality in India (after Hyderabad's old city), Juhapura is a living testament to resilience, solidarity, and the power of community.

જૂહાપુરામાં ₹૩૩૦ કરોડની ડ્રેનેજ યોજના
અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા પશ્ચિમ અમદાવાદના ૧૫ લાખ નાગરિકો માટે વેસ્ટર્ન ટ્રંક મેઇન લાઇન ડ્રેનેજ પ્રોજેક્ટ જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. જૂહાપુરા, ગોતા, વેજલપુર સહિત ૧૫થી વધુ વિસ્તારોને આ યોજનાનો લાભ મળશે.
૧૯૭૩: જ્યારે જૂહાપુરાનો જન્મ થયો
સાબરમતી નદીના ભીષણ પૂર બાદ હજારો પરિવારો ઘરવિહોણા બન્યા અને અહીંથી જૂહાપુરાની કહાની શરૂ થઈ. ૧૯૭૩માં ઇન્દિરા ગાંધી સરકારે આ વિસ્તારમાં પુનર્વસન શરૂ કર્યું.
